In 1998, the internet service was rapidly growing and gained impressive popularity in many leading countries. In Thailand at the time, such business was just at the beginning stage with only a handful of ambitious developers.
The MIH Group with Naspers as a major shareholder is a leading multinational media company listed on both Johannesburg Stock Exchange (Ticket: NPN) and NASDAQ (Ticket: NPSN). Its principal operations are in media and internet services which span over 50 countries around the world with its headquarters in the Netherlands.
