eBay and Sanook! To Launch New Co-branded
e-Commerce Site in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand, May 28, 2007 – eBay, the leading global online marketplace, has announced an agreement with Sanook!, Thailand’s number one online portal, to launch an e-commerce site that will enable individuals and businesses in Thailand to participate in local trade as well as cross-border trade through eBay’s global Web sites.  The co-branded Thai-language Web site, which will be called Sanook!eBay, is expected to launch in approximately five to seven months.  Once the site is launched, Thailand will be the 38th market where eBay has a local presence.  The photo shows Mr. Dan Neary, eBay Regional Vice-President of Emerging Markets (left) and Mr. Torboon Puangmaha, CEO, Sanook!, (right) at the signing ceremony.
